A brief history....

Mike Berry our Director, left full time education in the mid 1980's and served an apprenticeship with Lewden Metal Products Ltd as a toolmaker/precision engineer. 

By the mid 1990's Mike became self employed. During which time he operated as M C Services and worked in many industrial settings repairing and installing machinery along with repairing and installing utility pipework systems. 

As demand for his services grew, it became apparent time was mostly being spent working within the laundry sector. 

In 1998 M C Maintenance Ltd was formed and we have been installing laundries and repairing laundry machinery ever since. 

We have worked in various laundry settings in the UK and Europe:
HMRC Prisons
NHS Hospitals
Cruise Ships
Hotels
Restaurants

Having installed and repaired most brands of equipment, we have built relationships with many machinery manufacturers, who have also used our services. 

In 2023 we celebrated 25 years in business.


 


Installations

Offering a full installation service.  Mechanical & electrical along with full pipe work systems for water. gas, steam & compressed air.

We can work with you to ensure the layout of your facility is as practical as possible.  

From an empty building to a fully functioning laundry.  


 


Changing Premises/Moving

Moving a laundry can seem quite a task.

With our experience and know how, we can arrange a whole laundry move to a new premises whilst you continue to supply your customers with clean linen.

Installing Machines In An Existing Laundry

Replacing an existing machine or adding a new one can be tricky, especially in a working laundry.

We can arrange this for you, while you and your staff go about their work.

 

 


Repairs & Breakdowns

We've been repairing broken down laundry machinery for over 30 years.  If you have a machine that needs attention, we offer a repair service.  


 


Flatwork Ironer Re-springing

Tired, old and rusty broken springs will make flatwork difficult to present in the pristine manner hotels and restaurants require it to be.

We offer a supply and change service, old spring tape for new.  (An ironer survey is necessary before hand).

 

 


Health & Safety

Our engineers work to health & safety regulations.  


 

Washing and producing clean linen in a timely manner is a huge task.

We know how important a streamlined flow of work is to a laundry, especially when you are keeping up with workloads that have to be turned around within 24 hours.
